David P. Carr, 50, of Onondaga Hill, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of Solvay High School.
David was employed as a forklift operator at New Venture Gear for 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but above all, loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his parents, James and Arlie Carr of Warners; wife, the former Tina Mucci; and daughters, Meghan and Mary Carr all of Liverpool; sister, Sandra Carr of Camillus; brother, James Carr Jr. of Westvale; nieces, Tara and Jenna Carr of Camillus; and uncle, Richard Young of Syracuse.
A special thank you to Patrick Capella and friends who cared for David around the clock for the last few weeks of his life.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, June 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will be Saturday, June 30 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
