David Michaels

David Michaels, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at The Centers at St. Camillus. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a 1951 graduate of Vocational High School and an Air Force veteran.

David retired after 30 years with the City of Syracuse Department of Transportation. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and member of the Holy Name Society.

David was predeceased by his sisters, Irene Michaels, Mary Jasiel and Elizabeth Jarema; and brothers, John, Donald and Theodore.

Surviving are his sister, Theresa Kalenak of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 2 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
