Constance (Cimilluca) Russo

Constance (Cimilluca) Russo, 101, of Westvale, passed away peacefully on Monday at home. The youngest of the Cimilluca family, she worked at the family grocery store on Otisco Street for many years. Connie was a member of the Madonna Assunta Society, St. Joseph's Senior Guild, and the “Neighborhood Club.” She loved cooking, spending time with family, and playing a few hands of pitch while enjoying Death by Chocolate ice cream.

Connie was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Steve; sisters, Frances Lobello and Eleanor Cimilluca; and five brothers, Sam, Pete, Tony, Frankie, and Joey (Scratchy) Cimilluca.

Surviving are her daughters, Fran (Bernie) Foeillet and Mary Ann (Bob McGraw) Russo; granddaughters, Brianna McGraw and Dominique (Matt Yacano) Foeillet; several nieces and nephews; and her honorary family, including Brian, Kelly, and Joey DeSocio, and the Martens and Nauerth families.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Barb DeLuca and Chena Yehle for taking such wonderful care of her.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, May 10, 2024, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. 

Connie will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
