Christopher Lannie, 40, of Solvay, passed away Saturday. A lifetime resident of the Camillus area, he was a graduate of West Genesee High School. Christopher received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Onondaga Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from SUNY Cortland. He was employed by Home Depot while in high school until graduating college. Christopher worked as a service advisor for 11 years, most recently at Fayetteville Dodge Ram. He collected watches, was an unbelievable chef, avid motorcyclist and loved his vehicles.
Christopher was predeceased by his father, Frank; and uncles, Bob Latham and Dan Scicchitano.
Surviving are his fiancée, Alison Risser; mother, Jeanette Lannie; aunts, “Auntie” Sharon Latham and Amy Scicchitano; uncle, Ralph (Judy) Scicchitano; and several cousins.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
Christopher will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
