Christian Putnam Grome

Christian Putnam Grome, 22, of Camillus, passed away Tuesday. A lifetime resident of the Camillus area, he was a 2018 graduate of West Genesee High School. Christian received his associate’s degree from Onondaga Community College and was attending Binghamton University. He was a member of the Student Government Association at OCC. He loved music and playing his guitar and adored his dog, Bobbie Jo.

Christian was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lucille and William Grome; and cousin, Jacob Grome.

Surviving are his parents, Steven Grome and Kim Putnam; siblings, Connor and Jonny Grome; maternal grandparents, Roger and Bonnie Putnam; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 5 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse. Christian will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
