It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Christ Dine, 96, of Syracuse, on Saturday August 28, 2021. Born on November 5, 1924, he was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. Christ was a proud member of the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran. He was a graduate of Syracuse University. He worked for General Electric, Pass & Seymour, Crouse Hinds and retired from Syracuse Electronics.
Christ was predeceased by his loving wife of 73 years, Mary Ann Dine.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Miller; sons, James (Jennifer) and Christopher; and sister-in-law, Patricia Palen. He was blessed with eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Christ enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He was a volunteer for DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and drove veterans to and from medical appointments.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, September 1 from noon to 2 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services and burial will be private.
