Charles M. Barry

Charles M. Barry, 80, of Camillus, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at home. Born in Syracuse on Friday, October 25, 1929, he was the son of Charles Barry and Margaret Morgan Barry. He spent his early years in Marcellus before moving to California and later residing in Camillus. Charles was a graduate of Marcellus High School and Niagara University. He was employed by Conoco Oil Co. in Hartford, Connecticut for more than 20 years. He enjoyed reading and classical music. Surviving are his niece, Deborah (Dan) Barry-Taber of Syracuse; nephew, Thomas (Melissa) Barry of Camillus; close friend, John "Minnie" Hunt of Camillus; sister-in-law, Jan Barry of Camillus and five great nieces. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 at St. Agnes Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, Camillus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church Food Pantry, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
