Charles L. Ingleston Sr., 91, of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre. Born in Baldwinsville, he was an Army veteran of World War II. Charles graduated from college with a degree in animal husbandry and was a dairy farmer most of his life working on many farms across the state. He also was employed with Empire Freezer. He was past post commander of the VFW in Baldwinsville and Mexico and an avid bowler and golfer. Charles was predeceased by his sons, Charles Jr., Starrett and Kelley; and daughter, Robin Parrow. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Evelyn; daughters, Charlene (Ray) Blake of Cato, Stella Crandall of Candler, NC and Michele Fuller of Skidmore, TX; sons, Tracey (Sylvia) of Auburn, Chris "Chet" (Sherry) of Port Byron and Ronnie of Skidmore, TX; stepdaughters, Michele (Zach) Mazzeo of Glendale, AZ and Kim Kramer of Memphis; sister, Betty Hutchins of FL; brothers, Donald of AZ, Arthur of CA and John of Red Creek; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Martville Cemetery, Martville at a later date.
