Charles E. DeMott, 67, of Phoenix, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Heath Center. Born in Hannibal, New York on Monday, January 7, 1946, he was the son of Arnis and Lillian (Lamie) DeMott. He spent his early years in the Hannibal and Fulton area until moving to Phoenix. A graduate of Fulton High School, he was a carpenter for more than 30 years. Charles was a former Pee Wee wrestling coach, avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Linda; daughter, Tammy DeMott Treasure of Fulton; son, Charles DeMott of Phoenix; seven grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 29 in Little Utica Methodist Church, 1459 Lamson Rd., Phoenix.
