Charles A. Schiedel, 92, formerly of Camillus, NY, passed away Sunday in Roswell, GA. Charles was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada where he lived for nine years. He resided in Syracuse from 1929 until moving to Roswell, GA in 2009. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. Owner and operator of Schiedel Cleaners in North Syracuse, he retired in 1973 after 27 years. He also worked for Mor-Track, Inc. for more than 15 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of The Unity Church of Today in Syracuse. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, the former Frances E. Hunt; son, Kevin (Ana) of Spotsylvania, VA; daughters, Carol (Nabil) Issa of Dunwoody, GA and Bonnie (James) Nicotra of Lake Worth, FL; four grandchildren (and spouses); one great granddaughter; sisters-in-law, Beverly Schiedel and Marijane DeVona; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned with family the week of November 22nd in Dunwoody, GA. Contributions may be made to The Unity Church of Today, 300 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13027.
