Catherine Veronica Cutler

Catherine Veronica Cutler, 96, of Westvale, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born Catherine Guiney in Little Falls in the beautiful Mohawk Valley, she grew up surrounded by a loving extended family. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and St. Rose College in Albany. Catherine was employed as a registered nurse with the Onondaga County Public Health Department for over 15 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Fred, in 1990; and daughter, Mary Kavney, in 2008.

Surviving are her children, Bart of Syracuse, David of Littleton, CO, Veronica (Bill Starkloff) of Ocean City, MD, Mal of Littleton, CO and Kathleen (Mark Carter) of Syracuse; grandchildren, Mark Kavney, Heather Young, Matt Cutler, Erin Cutler, Katie Lambert and Zack DiGiulio; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Aivleen Young, Ava Spellman-Cutler and Sylar Lambert.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Camillus Ridge and St. Camillus for their loving care of Catherine.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, December 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will be Thursday, December 7 at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Catherine will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Little Falls.
