Catherine S. Lannie, 68, of Camillus, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at University Hospital. She lived in the Syracuse area for the past 20 years and worked at Van Duyn Home & Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She loved animals, especially dogs, and also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Catherine was predeceased by her father, Alfred Sr.; and brother, Christopher.
Surviving are her brothers, Al (Connie Cutler) of East Syracuse, Dan Perrone of Houston, TX and Mark (Nadia) Lannie of Arlington Heights, IL; stepmother, Connie Menga of Mattydale; nephews, Marcus and Michael; and niece, Jennifer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3 at 9 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.
