Catherine Rose Cudworth

Catherine "Kay" Cudworth, 94, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday at Francis House. Born in Penn Yan, she was employed by New York Telephone Co. for 42 years. Kay was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Greater Camillus Chamber of Commerce. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, she was also a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. She also volunteered at Community-General Hospital.

Kay was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, J. Robert Cudworth and son, Stephen Cudworth.

Surviving are her daughters, Jacqueline Cross of Marcellus and Suzanne Jerrett of Indiana; daughter-in-law, Shelly Cudworth of Pulaski; cousin, Margaret Stape of Penn Yan; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, August 13 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. .in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A memorial Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. Catherine will be laid to rest at a later date in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Penn Yan.
