Carol Lee Turner, 68, of Skaneateles, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Upstate University Hospital Community Campus. Born in East Orange, NJ, she lived most of her life in the Syracuse area. Carol enjoyed getting her nails done, playing cards and attending Day Habilitation. Above all, she loved Sunday dinners with her family and special friends at the Donnelly’s. This included playing games with her great nieces.
Carol is survived by her sisters, Patricia A. Donnelly of Syracuse and Susan (James) VanAtta of Roseville, CA; brother, Edward (Cynthia) Turner of Camillus; nieces, Amy E. Donnelly of Tipperary Hill and Elizabeth (Jason) Summers of Marina del Rey, CA; nephews, James (Jennifer) Donnelly of Marcellus, Timothy, Paul and Scott Turner of Camillus and David Turner of Orlando, FL; and great-nieces, Kylie G. and Elyse K. Donnelly of Marcellus.
On Carol’s behalf, her family wants to express deep love and appreciation to the staff that has cared for her throughout the years and most recently the providers at her home in Skaneateles.
Services will be private. Carol will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
