Carol Lasher Corp, 66, of Westvale, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at home. Born in Schenectady on Sunday, January 12, 1941, she was the daughter of Edward Clarence Lasher and Consoella Drucilla Matthews Lasher. Carol lived in Eastwood and the south side of Syracuse before moving to Westvale 35 years ago. A 1958 graduate of Eastwood High School, she was a registered nurse at Community-General Hospital, retiring in 1986 after 24 years. Carol enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Richard M. Corp; sons and daughter-in-law, Mark R. and Devery Corp of Wilmington, North Carolina and Scott T. Corp of Westvale; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas E. and Alice Lasher of Williamsburg, Virginia; sister-in-law, Barbara Butler of Camillus and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 in Park Cemetery, Scotia with Rev. Shawn Dugan officiating. Friends may call Monday, April 9, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
