Carol J. Ives, 70, of Elbridge, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Francis House. Born in Richland, she attended Pulaski High School and lived in Elbridge since 1987. She retired in 1987 after eight years with Catholic Charities. Carol enjoyed photography and making floral arrangements. She sang professionally and was an avid antique collector and dealer, along with her husband. She loved spending time with her family. Carol was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Gibbs. Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Frank; daughters, Michele (Steven) McDonald of Elbridge and Rhonda (John) Pietricola of Palermo; sons, Roger Holt of Lowville, Sean Holt of Jordan and Mark Jackowski of Jack's Reef; stepdaughters, Belinda Ives of Manchester, Laura Brown of Adams, Mary (Don) Russell of Pennellville and Marie (Mike) Murray of Austin, Texas; sisters, Joan Cusson of West Monroe and Barbara (John) Moot of Pulaski; brother, Edward (Geri) Whaley of California; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday, April 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be Saturday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan.
