Bruce Hill Needham

Bruce Needham, 86, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Crouse Hospital. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, he graduated from West Genesee High School and achieved his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Bruce was a dedicated pharmacist who served his community for over four decades before retiring in 2006.

Bruce was incredibly proud of his family. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing at his camp on Otisco Lake, cooking, baking, and sharing his creations with loved ones. He was also a member of the Robinson Elmwood United Church. 

Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Cedric and Helen; and great-granddaughter, Grace.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Barbara; son, Mark (Heather) of Camarillo, CA; daughter, Lisa (David) Brown of Syracuse; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Roz) of Ohio, Roger of New Jersey, and Alan (Johanna) of Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Robinson Elmwood United Church, 126 S. Terry Rd., Syracuse.
