Brian J. Normoyle, 56, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Friday at Crouse Hospital.
Born on May 2, 1968, in Syracuse, Brian was a lifelong resident of Camillus. A 1987 graduate of West Genesee High School, he continued his education at Onondaga Community College before embarking on a successful 30-year career in real estate. He began his profession under the guidance of his father at Normoyle Real Estate in Camillus and most recently served clients at Howard Hanna Real Estate. More than a realtor, Brian was a trusted advisor and friend, helping countless families find their dream homes.
An avid sports enthusiast, Brian was a passionate supporter of Syracuse University football, basketball, and lacrosse and the Pittsburgh Steelers, often cheering for his teams with an infectious enthusiasm that resonated with family and friends alike.
Brian had many cherished friends, and his presence will be profoundly missed, yet his impact will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Brian was predeceased by his parents, William and Anne Normoyle.
Surviving are his daughters, Clare and Maeve Normoyle, both of Camillus; brothers, William "Bill" (Cheryl) Jr. and Michael; sisters, Maureen (John) Demers, Kathleen (Brian) Connolly, and Eileen (Jim) Cebeniak; companion, Laura Farmer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family of Brian would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff on 6th North at Crouse Hospital for their loving care and compassion. Your kindness and dedication brought comfort to Brian and our family during a difficult time, and we are grateful for the support you provided.
To celebrate Brian’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Brian will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
