Brian J. Madlin

Brian J. Madlin, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home. Born and raised in Syracuse, he moved to California before returning to Syracuse in 2008. He was a graduate of West Genesee High School. While residing in California, Brian held several management positions in hospitality which include Yesterday’s in Westwood, Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Viceroy Hotel, both in Santa Monica. Upon returning to Syracuse, he was employed by Lord & Taylor as a sales associate for over ten years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Brian was predeceased by his parents, Allan and Ethel Madlin.

Surviving are his sister, Judy (John) Henneberry of Camillus; nephew, Michael (Susan) Petrosillo of Fayetteville; nieces, Kim (Michael) McGraw and Amy (Robert) Anderson of Camillus; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be private.

Brian will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
