Boris Dimovski, 91, of Fairmount, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. Born in Bitola, Macedonia, he served in the Yugoslavian Army in 1947 and moved to the U.S. in 1959.
Boris spent his career as a shoemaker with A.E. Nettleton Co. for over 24 years and for over six years with Thermopatch, Inc. Boris was very proud of his Macedonian heritage and carried on his traditions in America. He was a founding member of St. George Macedonian Church and also an avid soccer and basketball fan.
Boris was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Blaga and Nada; and brothers, Anastas and Blagoje.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, the former Nada Georgievska; sons, Michael (Theresa) and Theodore; and grandchildren, Alexandra and Natalie.
There will be no calling hours.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 27 at 10 a.m. in St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5083 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse. Boris will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
