Blaguna Glamcevski, 85, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at Upstate Community Hospital. She was born in Macedonia and immigrated to the United States in 1964, where she established a life filled with love and dedication
Blaguna was employed making Julius Resnick handbags, amongst other places. She was also a devout member of St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church, finding solace and community in her faith.
Outside of her professional and religious commitments, Blaguna found joy in simple pleasures. She had a green thumb and found serenity in her garden, cultivated through years of love and care. Her culinary talents were evident in her delicious dishes, and her baking brought smiles to all who tasted her creations. Above all, Blaguna cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a loving, kind-hearted soul whose warmth touched the lives of many.
Blaguna was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Petar; parents, Vasil and Bozna; daughter-in-law, Vicki Glamcevski; grandchildren, Anna and Jonathan Jolevski; and brother, Riste Razmovski.
Surviving are her son, Scott; daughter, Elica Jolevski; grandchildren, Peter, Louie (Rachel), Steven (Lisl), and Jessica (Adam); great-grandchildren, Leah, Chloe, and Vinny; brother, Aleksandar (Venera) Razmovski; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus, allowing friends and family to pay their respects. A Trisagion service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service honoring her life will take place on Friday, January 12, at 10 a.m. in St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5083 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse.
Blaguna will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
