Bill Myers, 81, of Camillus, passed away Thursday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Troy, he was a life resident of Syracuse and enjoyed the past 23 years wintering in Palm Harbor, Florida. Bill was a graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport, Conn. and New York Chiropractic Institute. He was employed by Emery Air Freight Corp. for 30 years. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, he was also a volunteer with the food pantry. Bill was an avid golfer and long time member of Tuscarora Country Club. Bill was predeceased by his sister, Norine Shannon. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Nancy; daughter, Julie (Carlos) Davila of Syracuse; son, W. Jeff (Martha) Myers of Camillus; grandchildren, Kelcey, Alexandra, Patrick, Neal and Brian Myers, and Christian and Carlos Davila; brother, Thomas (Carol) Myers of San Jose, CA; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 31 in St. Joseph's Church. Bill will be laid to rest in the spring at Greenlawn Cemetery.
