Beverly M. Oliver Cizenski, 90, of Camillus, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday. Born February 2, 1934, in Syracuse, and raised in Mattydale, she spent the majority of her life in the Camillus area. A proud 1951 graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School and CCBI in 1953, Beverly earned a degree in business and worked as a secretary at First Trust & Deposit Company. She was a devoted communicant of Holy Family Church, where she also served as past president of the Seniors Group. She gave generously of her time as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and found great joy in traveling.
Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard; parents, Anna and William Oliver; and brother, Edward Oliver.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane (Timothy) Robinson of Syracuse; sons, Steven (Theresa) of Fairmount, David (Kathleen) of Syracuse, and Michael (Lynnanne) of Cayuga; granddaughters, Hannah (Vance), Amanda (Mitch) Brooks, and Jennifer; grandsons, Eric (Nicole), Marc (Meghan), Jeffrey (Jenna), Scott, Brian, Alan (Meera), Kyle, Michael, Daniel, and Adam; great-granddaughters, Madelynn, Loralee, Bria, and Sadie; great-grandsons, Luke, Carter, Cole, River and Jackson; sister-in-law, Marge Oliver of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
To celebrate Beverly’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church.
Beverly will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219.
