Beverly Chiavara, 73, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. She was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area. A graduate of East High School in Auburn, Beverly earned her Bachelor of Education from Oklahoma City University and attended SU. She was a teacher for over 25 years and was employed with West Genesee High School before retiring in 2002. Beverly was a member of DeWitt Community Church, the NYS Teachers Association and was on the board of directors for Syracuse Children's Chorus. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Nelson and Jean Harris; and brother, James Harris.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Tim; children, Jeffrey (Kara) Ruetsch of Syracuse, Todd (Amy) Ruetsch of Skaneateles and Courtney (Michael) Perrone of Skaneateles; grandchildren, Ava, Carson, Hannah, Jack, Connor, Hank and Tyler Ruetsch and Emma and Taylor Perrone; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
