Belle M. Daniels Elliott, 88, of Fairmount, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at home. Born in Syracuse, she was a lifetime resident of the Fairmount area. Belle was a 1942 graduate of Solvay High School and communicant of Holy Family Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and baker but most of all she enjoyed sharing her quick wit with family and friends. Belle was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Edgar "Bud" Elliott in 2007; son, Timothy C. Elliott in 1990; brothers, Carl and Fred Daniels; and sister, Laura Trexel. Surviving are her sons, Thomas (Carol) Elliott of New York City and Terry (Blair) Elliott of Seattle, WA; daughter, Susan (Bruce) Pollock of Skaneateles; daughter-in-law, Molly Elliott of Fort Myers Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, May 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 at the funeral home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Belle will be laid to rest in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
