Beatrice "Betty" V. Conway

Beatrice "Betty" V. Conway, 95, of Camillus, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was a lifetime resident of Warners and a graduate of Warners High School. Betty served in the Women's Army Corps during WW II. She retired as postmaster in 1982 after 28 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Warners and was past president of the National Assoc. of Postmasters. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Eugene in 1994; parents, Daniel and Addie Ryan; and brother, Clayton Ryan. Surviving are her children, Patricia (Daniel) Shay of South Carolina, Eugene (Ann) Conway of Camillus and Martin (Kathy) Conway of Maryland; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew. Services will be private. Betty will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Share condolences at www.BuranichFH.com
