Barbara Mann Miller

Barbara Mann Miller, 68, of Camillus, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at Francis House. Born in Syracuse on Thursday, October 21, 1943, she was the daughter of John Hiscock Mann and Margaret Eleanor Foote Mann. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School and Syracuse University. Barb was an active communicant of St. Joseph's Church where she was a member of the choir and Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, volunteer work, handcrafting and traveling. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Donald C. Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brad and Nancy Mann of Fayetteville and Gregory and Janet Mann of Sunset, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, May 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will be at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 at the funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Barb will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Don and Barb would like to thank Dr. Bunn and his chemo nurses for their loving care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church Food Pantry, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus, NY 13031.
