Barbara J. Warner

October 8, 1938 — February 16, 2021

Barbara J. Warner, 82, of Marcellus, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at The Centers at St. Camillus. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Central Tech High School. Barbara was employed with Penn Traffic for over 30 years before retiring in 2003. She enjoyed animals and being outdoors in nature, especially birdwatching. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her son, Jason (Christina) of Liverpool; sisters, Ann Currie of Margate, FL, Susan McSally of Onondaga Hill, Ruth (Bill) Nugent of Portsmouth, NH and Ellen (Fred) Funck of Marcellus; brother, Jack (Cathy) Sangster of Onondaga Hill; granddaughters, Stephanie and Emily Warner; longtime friend, Katrina Fitch of Marcellus; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the C Unit staff at St. Camillus for their loving care and compassion given to Barbara over the last two years.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, February 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Face coverings are required.
