Barbara (Carroll) Bartlett, 83, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at University Hospital. Born and raised in Geneva, she lived in Camillus since 1957. Barbara graduated from DeSales High School in Geneva and Sisters of Charity School of Nursing in Buffalo. She was employed with Upstate Medical Center for more than 20 years before retiring in 1993. Barbara was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Alfred W. Sr., in 2013.
Surviving are her daughters, Patricia (James) Schaefer of New Hartford, Mary Katherine (Jeff) Cannizzo of Amherst and Anne Shanahan of Delray Beach, FL; sons, Alfred (Cindy) Jr. of Solvay, David (Paula) of Greenville, SC, Stephen of Camillus, Peter (Patti) of Concord, NC and Paul of Camillus; sister, Mary Ellen (Bill) Coffey of Florida; brothers, John (Francy) Carroll and David (Mary) Carroll, both of Florida; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marcia (Mickey) Peters of Geneva and Sue Oram of New Jersey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 8 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Barbara will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery, Geneva.
