Audrey C. Dygert 91, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Syracuse Home Association. Born in Syracuse on Monday, October 7, 1918, she was the daughter of David James Cashel and Katherine Temple Cashel. Audrey attended Powelson Business Institute and was an accountant for Hurdman & Cranston in Syracuse. Her husband Marsh died May 22, 1992. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Phil Catalino of Fairmount; son, Marshall D. Dygert of LaFayette, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 27 in Holy Family Church. Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Audrey will be laid to rest in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. The family of Audrey would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Syracuse Home for the loving care they showed Audrey over her seven-year stay. The respect, patience and companionship they deliver every resident every day make them a cherished asset to the community.
