Arlene Jerome

Arlene Jerome, 81, of Solvay, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at home. A lifetime resident of Solvay, she was born Saturday, January 14, 1928 and was the daughter of Garrison James Forger and Grace Alta Thompson Forger. She graduated from Solvay High School. Arlene worked for 30 years with her husband, Frank, at Frank Jerome & Sons Plumbing & Heating, retiring in 1995. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church. Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family. Arlene was predeceased by her sisters, Eleanor Cooper and Arletta Blowers. Her husband, Frank Jr. died October 20, 2008. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Wally Gaworecki of Lakeland, Janice and David Todeschini of Solvay, Jilene and Ronald Rotolo of Lakeland and Janil Harris of Fairmount; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Kathy Jerome III of Solvay; sisters and brother-in-law, Delores and Joseph Fedrizzi of Solvay and Marilyn Forger of Ann Arbor, Michigan; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Agnes Forger of Solvay; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 in St. Cecilia's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Arlene will be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
