Anthony Cambareri, 41, of Camillus, found peace in the arms of our Lord on Friday, March 29, 2013. He was born in Syracuse, New York on Friday, January 21, 1972 to Salvatore and Diana Cambareri. A 1989 graduate of Henninger High School, he also attended college at SUNY Purchase and Boise State University. Anthony was a safety and health consultant for the New York State Department of Labor. He earned his professional firefighter qualifications and EMT and spent many years in the volunteer fire service with the Fairmount and Camillus Fire Departments. A dedicated husband and father, Anthony loved to spend all of his free time with his family, playing outside, camping, traveling and attending his children's activities. He was a fervent New York Yankees’ fan and loved to attend and watch games with his father, brothers, nephew, wife and children. He will be remembered for his dedication and love for his family and his service to his community. Anthony is survived by his wife, Jennifer and two children, Isabella, age 10, and Anthony, age 6; parents, Salvatore and Diana Cambareri of Camillus; brothers, Joseph Cambareri of Camillus, John Cambareri of Georgia and Ed Cambareri of Syracuse; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Christine Yourno of Middleburgh, New York; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tina and David Heyduk of West Winfield, New York; grandmother, Brigid Yourno of Middleburgh, New York; aunt, Fran Cambareri of Camillus; uncle, Dr. John Cambareri of Camillus; great-aunt, Katie Kellogg of Syracuse. Anthony also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who were very special to him: Anthony, Gabriella, Ariana, Nicholas, Alessio, Jonathan, and Joey; as well as, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, April 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 3 in St. Joseph's Church. Anthony will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
