Anthony “Tony” J. DeYulio, 86, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, April 19 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center. A lifetime resident of the Syracuse area, he was a graduate of North High School. Anthony was a veteran of the Korean War and employed with Crouse-Hinds for 45 years before retiring in 1999. He was a longtime member of The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter. He was also a member of the Howlett Hill Fire Department and the Stanley B. Pennock VFW Post 2893. Anthony was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to the casino, managing a senior casino bus and was an avid SU sports fan.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ida; siblings, Lucy (Michael) DelVeccio, Frank (Joan) DeYulio, Mary Caruso and Jennie Gillette; and nephew, Michael DelVeccio.
He is survived by his loving and dear wife of 59 years, the former Beverly Besner; children, Joseph (Teresa) DeYulio, Tina-Marie Mott and Tracy (Donald) Coon; grandchildren, Anthony (Theresa) DeYulio, Zachary (Alyssa) Mott, Troy (Danielle) DeYulio and Tianna Coon; great-granddaughter, Juliette; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. in The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter, 4782 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse. Burial will be in Howlett Hill Cemetery.
