Anne M. Schrank

On this day, February 18, 2019, our mom, Anne Maier Schrank, passed into eternal life, surrounded by her loved ones. Anne was the daughter of the late Georgine and Frank X. Maier and grew up in Eastwood. She graduated from Convent School and attended Le Moyne College. In 1954, Anne became the bride of Robert Schrank and they were married just short of 60 years until the passing of our dad in early 2014. Anne worked at the NY Telephone Co. after college until our parents started their family. Robert and Anne resided in Fairmount for most of their married life and were faithful parishioners of Holy Family Church. Anne concluded her working years as an associate at Kmart in Camillus until her retirement. Anne greatly cherished the lifelong friendships that she formed throughout her time at the NY Telephone Co., Kmart, Holy Family Church and the Lakeland Seniors.

Surviving are her devoted daughter, Carol Schrank of Camillus; dearest son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Christine) Schrank of Camillus; much loved grandsons, Michael, Daniel and Thomas Schrank; beloved cats, Elsie and Sadie; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 23 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Anne will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
