Anne M. Dwyer, 99, of Tipperary Hill, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010 at home. Born in Syracuse on Sunday, October 23, 1910, she was the daughter of Edmond J. Dwyer and Ellen Frances Roach Dwyer. A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was a graduate of St. Lucy's School and attended Central City Business Institute. Anne was employed by the U.S. Treasury Department, retiring in 1977 after 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Brigid & St. Joseph's Church and member of the Altar & Rosary Society and Young at Heart. Surviving are her niece, Joan Butler of Chestertown, Maryland; nephews, Dr. Richard Schoeb of Queenstown, Maryland and Donald Schoeb of Chestertown, Maryland; 18 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 34 great-great nieces and great-great-nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 19 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Laurence Kennedy officiating. Relatives and friends may call preceding the service from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Anne will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
