Anna Miller Smith January 5, 2010 Anna Miller Smith, 96, of Syracuse, recently passed away at Francis House. Born in Watertown, she was one of six daughters born to Charles and Annie (Fasano) Miller. Mrs. Smith was a nurse at Memorial Hospital during the 1950s and later worked as a realtor for Roney Realty. She and her husband Lowell went on to establish Kimber Realty. Anna and Lowell spent many happy summers at their camp in Smyrna, NY where they enjoyed hunting and fishing. Anna's family affectionately called her "Annie Oakley" as she rarely missed her target. Anna was predeceased by husband, Lowell E.; daughter, Janet V. Burke; and sisters, Grace Campelito, Carmela O’Bryan and Adeline Miller. She is survived by daughter Shirley Ann Griffith (Daniel) of Merritt Island, FL; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine McGinley of Las Vegas, NV and Dorothy Rothbaler of Syracuse; and many nieces and nephews.
