Anna Sikorski, 81, of Lakeland, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Iroquois Nursing Home. Born in Syracuse on Wednesday, July 22, 1925, she was the daughter of John Kotash and Victoria Szafranice. She lived in Lakeland for 49 years. Anna was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking Polish food and canning tomatoes and peppers from her vegetable garden. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Sikorski, in 1987 and sister, Jane Ptak, in 2007. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Raymond T. Sikorski of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Thomas E. and Jeannine Sikorski of Syracuse; daughters and son-in-law, Victoria J. and William Goga of Raleigh, North Carolina, Julie K. Sass of Syracuse and Ann Marie Patchin of Ohio; sister, Mary Merle of Syracuse; grandchildren, Tim and Rhonda Sass, Dan Sass and Annalyssa and Jacob Sikorski; and great-grandson, Timothy Sass Jr. Services will be Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church where Rev. John E. Fetcho will celebrate a funeral Mass. Friends may call Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
