Anna Shearer Rhinehart, 95, of Camillus, passed away Friday at home. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she moved to Camillus in 2000. Anna was a graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She was employed by Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, holding various positions there for over 20 years. An avid reader, Anna also enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially on bus tours, and was a huge fan of Syracuse University sports and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Anna was predeceased by her parents, LeRoy and Mary Shearer; and sister, Rosalyn.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy L. (Bill Bates) BriggsShearer; son, George (Christine Geyer) Rhinehart; grandchildren, Caitlin A. (Will) Clark and Meghan I. (Andrew) Bryant; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Chase, Grayson, and Delilah Clark, and Ty, Sawyer, and Finley Bryant.
