Anna D. Schmitz, 81, of Camillus, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Community-General Hospital. Born in Warners on Wednesday, November 10, 1926, she was the daughter of Emilian P. Daniluk and Ustina Chymicz Daniluk. Anna was a graduate of Warners High School. A lifetime resident of the Camillus area, she was formerly employed at Upstate Medical Center. She was an avid gardener and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Anna's husband, Henry, died in 1967. Surviving are her sons, Edward of Vienna, Virginia and Walter of Syracuse; daughters, Julie Stava of Australia, Karen Schmitz of Alexandria, Virginia and Sharon Schaefer of Suwanee, Georgia; sisters, Mary Kimble of Phoenix, Arizona, Olga Schroeder of Seven Springs, Florida and Julia Parker of Hastings; brothers, John Daniluk of Camillus, Paul Daniluk of Memphis, New York, Sam Daniluk of Wilmington, North Carolina and Peter Daniluk of Dryden; New York and six grandchildren. . Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Friends may call Friday, December 28, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring at Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus. Contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
