Anna A. (Kolbrecki) Oravecz, 100, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at Loretto. Born in Nanty-Glo, PA, she lived in Camillus since 1956 and was a 1939 graduate of Lilly High School. She retired in 1990 after 30 years with Addis & Co. in Fairmount. Anna was a life member of the Lilly Historical Society, the VFW Auxiliary, and a past member of St Joseph's Altar & Rosary Society. She was a collector of Western memorabilia and enjoyed traveling out west and to Pennsylvania, with her husband, to visit family. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Martin, in 1987; daughter, Michalina "Mickey" Meaker in 2019; and sister, Mary Katherine Kowalczyk.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Malessa (Patrick) Sweet of Mattydale and Michael (Aimee) Meaker of Skaneateles; great-granddaughters, Sabrina Sweet, Sparrow and Echo Meaker; great-grandson, Logan Meaker; sister, Frances Albarano of Hollidaysburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Anna will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Lilly, Pennsylvania.
