Ann M. Malcott, 63, of Oswego, formerly of Sterling, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at University Hospital, Syracuse. Ann was known for her kind heartedness and care for others, whether she was caring for strays, volunteering at the Fair Haven Fire Dept. Auxiliary's fish dinners or crocheting a blanket for loved ones. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, canning and flea markets but above all, loved spending time with her family and friends.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, Mark and Helen Wallace; husband, Douglas Malcott, in 2006, and previous husband, John "Wes" Greenfield, in 1981.
Surviving are her daughters, Melissa Diebel (Tom) Fedor of Thurmont, MD and Melynda (Dennis Mitchell) Greenfield of Syracuse; son, Michael Diebel of Oswego; sister, Gail (Jim) Wolfe of Caseville, MI; brothers, Joe (Sue) Wallace of Tavares, FL and Mark (Irene) Wallace of Chesterfield, MI; grandchildren, Wesley and Kyle Hawkins, and Jillian Fedor; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private.
