Ann Dellapent Casler, 80, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born in Watertown, she moved to the Syracuse area in 1956 and was a graduate of Watertown High School and SUNY Potsdam, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Ann was a teacher with the West Genesee Central School District for 30 years and tutored for 10 years. She was an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Camillus Business and Professional Women's Club, City View Garden Club, and Immanuel United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, caring and supportive grandmother and a devoted school teacher. Ann and her husband, Donald, were avid sailors and enjoyed their summers on their boat in Sodus Point. He predeceased her 1999. Surviving are her sons, Joseph (Margaret) of Pensacola, FL and Brian (Angela) of North Syracuse; grandchildren, Bryan, Breanna, Alexandra, Courtney, Coleman and Chase. Relatives and friends may call Monday, August 10 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 303 Kasson Rd., Camillus. Services will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church.
