Anita Przewlocki (Long) Kallfelz March 26, 2020 Anita Przewlocki (Long) Kallfelz, 76, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL. Born and raised in Syracuse, she made it her home, graduating from St. John the Evangelist High School and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. She received her bachelor's degree from Utica College. Anita was employed for over 37 years, having worked at Van Duyn Home & Hospital as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner and finally as director of nursing. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Fairmount and was an avid Syracuse University football and basketball fan and also enjoyed golfing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Anita was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Przewlocki; second husband, A. Joseph Kallfelz; grandson, Zachary Robert Przewlocki; parents, Martha and Patrick Long; and brother, Arthur Long.
Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Moore (Steven DeMayo) of Baldwinsville, Michael (Debbie) Przewlocki of Bethel, CT, Timothy Kallfelz of Baldwinsville, Kristen (Frank) Monfalcone of Rochester, and Meghan (Scott) Channels of Camillus; sister, Martha (Ed) Cosselman of Brewerton; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Long of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Donovan Moore of Baldwinsville, Jordan and Grace Przewlocki of Bethel, CT, Kara and Allison Kallfelz of Syracuse, Cole, Brooke and Karly Monfalcone of Rochester, and Sarah, Molly and Katelyn Channels of Camillus; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours and services are private at this time. A funeral service and celebration of Anita's life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
