Angie C. Williams, 89, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Solvay, she lived in Syracuse since 1971 and was a graduate of Solvay High School. Angie was employed with Camillus Cutlery for over 53 years and retired as vice president in 2000. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Angie enjoyed traveling with her husband, Bill, and spending time at their summer home at Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needle point but above all, loved spending time with her family.
Angie was predeceased her husband, William, in 2008; son, Thomas, in 2014; sisters, Julia Romano, Ann Pannetti and Fay Kulak; and brothers, Carbino, James and Joseph Santaferra.
Surviving are her son, Richard (Susan) of Syracuse; sister, Genevieve Ortola of Port Richie, FL; grandsons, Thomas, Patrick and John Williams, all of Syracuse; sister-in-law, Irene Santaferra of Rome; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 3 at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Angie will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
