Angeline Masella, 81, of Solvay, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday December 2, 2009 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born in Syracuse on Sunday, February 19, 1928, she was the daughter of Nicholas Masella and Carmela Charles Masella. She lived in Solvay most of her life and was a graduate of Central High School. Angeline was formerly employed by Syracuse China Corp. and Pass & Seymour. A member of First Christian Assembly, she was also a member of the Women's Ministry, Prison Ministry, choir and former Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed music, especially singing and playing the piano, as well as baking. She was also very family-oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family. Angeline was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Carmela Masella, and sister, Carmela Burke. Surviving are her sisters and brother-in-law, Eleanor Masella of Solvay and Rosalind and Paul Ragonese of Camillus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Giselda Masella of Westvale and Fred and Diana Masella of Solvay; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 pm. Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Ron Warne officiating. Relatives and friends may call preceding the funeral from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
