Andrea L. Bidwell, 79, of Camillus, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Oneida, she moved to Syracuse in 1968. Andrea was a customer service representative at National Grid for many years, retiring in 1998. An avid racer in the early 70s, she won several NYS championships in Super Stock O. She was an EMT for Camillus and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Andrea was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Arlene Lang; brother, George Lang; and daughter-in-law, Angela Freeman.
Surviving are her sons, Kevin (Sharon) Freeman, Russell (Nory) Freeman and Gustave Freeman, all of San Diego, CA and Richard (Laurie) Freeman of Syracuse; daughter, Renee (James) Thousand of Camillus; grandchildren, Arlene, Kara, Stephen, Alyssa, Jennifer, Ryan, Johnathan and Helena; and several great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.
Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Andrea will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida in the spring.
