Anastasia “Anne” Zysk, 93, of Camillus, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at home. Born in Syracuse on Monday, December 23, 1918, she was the daughter of Francis Banaszek and Eleanore Sieraszuska Banaszek. She lived in Camillus most of her life. For 32 years, Anne and her husband spent winters in Cape Canaveral, Florida. She was formerly employed by GE and Dey Bros. Anne was a communicant of St. Joseph´s Church. A member of the Camillus Elks Ladies’ Auxiliary, she volunteered with the American Red Cross since 1987. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, ceramics, cooking and spending time with her family. Anne was predeceased on February 28, 2011 by her husband of 73 years, Charles Stanley Zysk Sr.; sisters, Nathalie Johnson, Julie Garbus and Mary Leo; and brother, Stanley Banaszek. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and George Klotz of Baldwinsville; son and daughter-in-law, Charles S. and Nancy Zysk Jr. of Baldwinsville; sisters, Jean Babuchak of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and Helen Caban of Syracuse; brothers, Edward and Henry Banaszek, both of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, George, John, Jim and Kathleen Klotz and Christopher Zysk; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 20 in St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Relatives and friends may call preceding the funeral from 11 a.m. to noon to at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
