Alice Rose Kinsella Zollo, 82, formerly of Westvale, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Iroquois Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Born in Solvay on Tuesday, March 27, 1928, she was the daughter of Edward Kinsella and Alice Rose Foley Kinsella. She lived in Westvale since 1949 and was a graduate of Solvay High School. Alice was the owner and president of Solvay Recreation Lanes. A communicant of Holy Family Church, she served as a Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She sold Avon for many years and enjoyed knitting and gardening, especially flowers and vegetables. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Philip Sr., in 1978. Surviving are her 14 children, Christine O'Dell, Mary Walker, Elizabeth (Daniel) Barriere, Sally (Susan) Zollo, Teresa (Alan) Zollo, Megan Pellenz, Daniel, Philip (Lorraine) Jr., Edward, Thomas (Sharon), John (Lori), James, Joseph (J.P.), and Leonard; 28 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Olga Kinsella and Carmel Zollo; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, May 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 28 at 1 p.m. in Holy Family Church. Alice will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
