Alice Marie Boyer, 82, of Camillus, passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 at Community General Hospital. Born in Fowler, New York on Tuesday, July 12, 1927, she was the daughter of Ward F. Reynolds and Florence May Sullivan. After spending her early years in Fowler, she lived in the Syracuse area since the 1950's. Alice worked in the medical field, including the VA Medical Center, for many years and was later employed as a nanny. She was a volunteer for various organizations. A beloved mother, sister and aunt, Alice was known as the "Life of the Party”. She loved porcelain dolls, winning in Las Vegas, collecting knick knacks and attending garage sales but most of all she loved being “Nana” to Mac. Alice was predeceased by her parents, Ward and Florence Reynolds; daughter, Jacklynn Coffie; sons, Richard and Anthony Coffie; eight sisters and four brothers. Surviving are her daughter, Cherry Stonecipher of Syracuse; sister, Jeanette Clickner of Cape Vincent and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 6 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus with Rev. Michael Galuppi officiating.
