Alfred "Big Al" Pratt

October 9, 1948 — October 18, 2017

Alfred “Big Al” Pratt, 69, of Camillus, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at home. Born in Syracuse, he was raised in Ogdensburg and moved back to the CNY area in 1967. Al was employed with Camillus Cutlery for over 30 years. He was a volunteer with the Camillus Fire Dept. and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Al was predeceased by his sisters, Diane, Dolores, Marie and Ann; and brothers, David, George and Teddy.

Surviving are his children, Jean (John) Guzelak of Granby, Charles (Laura) Pratt of Syracuse, Holly Pratt of Camillus, Kim (John) Walsh of Marcellus, Karen Pratt of Syracuse and Dawn Pratt of Elbridge; sisters, Rosie O'Brien and Nancy (Bill) Drewien; brothers, Donald (Patricia), Robert (Carrie) and Harold Pratt; sister-in-law, Julia Pratt; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, October 20 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
